The morning of the 1st day of school. The girls were both so excited to go. Especially Jessi...she couldn't wait to be in 1st grade, eat lunch, ride the bus, and get to go to school all day. The night before, she said in her prayers, "Please bless that the first day of school will be awesome." When she came into my classroom at the end of the day and I asked how the day went, she said, "It was the best day of my life!"
We had this Fairies Cookbook show up in the mail yesterday. It was addressed to "The Coleman Girls" but we have no idea who it's from! Abbey and Jessi each picked a recipe to try and we have been fairy cooking...

We start school on Monday. The kids are nervous and excited. Kai does staggered entry where they only go once the first week with about 4 kids so they get a lot of one on one touring of everything. Do you do that there?
We don't have staggered entry...never actually heard of that before, but interesting idea. Our kindergarten doesn't actually start for a week and a half after our other kids. They come in one at a time during that week to meet with their teacher and have an intitial assessment done.
